Peritoneal Cancer Fundraiser Social Night
April 12th, 2024 |Teralba Community Hall
The 2024 Peritoneal Cancer Fundraiser will be held on April 12th at the Teralba Community Hall! All proceeds will be donated to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation in honour of Sue Donald.
For those of you that aren’t aware, in 2021 we lost one of our founders, Sue, to a rare and aggressive form of cancer, Peritoneal Cancer. Sue, who is Bill’s wife and Keeley’s grandmother, was a beloved member of our studio & our family. She played in integral role in the studio and in our lives, in and outside of dancing. In honour of her, we raise funds every year to support the research into a cure for this very rare form of cancer.
Please join us from 6:30pm for a night of dancing, games, food and friendship.

Dancing in the Dark Fundraiser Night
Thank you to Deb Hescott from Cure Blindness Australia and all her friends for coming along! We’re glad you had fun and enjoyed all the dancing!
Additionally, Gary and Cheryl and some of their students at GC’s Ballroom came out to support our little event. We are so so grateful
We raised just under $1500, which will go straight towards research for a cure for blindness!! We couldn’t be happier!!
Last night consisted of a lot of dancing with the lights significantly dimmer than usual. We wanted to simulate a visually impaired environment. We also played multiple dancing games, including one where one person in the partnership was blindfolded. This was incredibly disorienting, but lots of fun!!

Orana Early Childhood Intervention Fundraiser
Bill’s Ballroom, along with Stephen and Kerri Frogley, would like to give a massive thank you to everyone who supported our Orana Early Intervention fundraiser this past Friday!
We’ve been waiting to make this post so all donations can come in, & we are very proud to say we have raised $1,265 for a cause so close to our hearts!
