The emblem for Bill’s Ballroom is the dancing bees. You will see this displayed on our studio jackets and team outfits. The bee is the inspiration of the studio.
So what is the story?
Scientists can show that aerodynamically it should not be possible for the bee to fly (by conventional understandings of how insects fly). Its wings are too light for the weight of its body. But it is important to the bee to fly in order to carry out its work, so it flew. But more than that, it has to use its wings differently by rotating them to achieve its goal. This says to us all that if we want to achieve our goals we have to keep trying and be prepared to change how we do things if necessary to get there.
Anyone can learn to dance. How far we go depends on many factors, but we can do it. With the right attitude and perseverance, we can make it.
